Descrição da Função:

• You will design, build and refine our data and analytics infrastructure, scaling to petabytes of data to support our eCommerce platform as part of an agile team, open-minded, multicultural with short iterations and frequent releases


• You will grow our analytics capabilities with faster, more reliable data pipelines, and better tools


• You’ll work together with analytics, product managers and backend engineers to ensure high data quality


• You will optimise and improve existing features or data processes for performance and stability


• Be a participant in our open-minded, multi-cultural and collaborative culture

Requisitos:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer


• 1-2 years of experience as a DevOps


• 1-2 years of experience as a Back-end Developer


• Experience designing, developing and maintaining systems at scale


• You have strong experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark)


• You write efficient, well-tested code with an keen eye on scalability and maintainability


• You are familiar with agile development


• You have an analytical mind and bake your decisions with data


• Experience with AWS and cloud technologies


• Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g. Python, R, Scala or Java


• Experience with handling databases on a large scale and analyse the data in order to make the right business decision


• Experience with internationalization, localisation and natural language processing (NLP)


• Knowledge in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence


• Sharp thinking and ability to solve problems


• Ability to gather technical requirements and develop a plan to execute those requirements


• Have in consideration both the business and the development side of the equation


• You are a strong team player, you like to communicate in person with your team members and other stakeholders to come to the best solution


• Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory)


• Must already have the legal right to live and work in Portugal
