Descrição da Função:- Global Security is looking for a Director, to cover operations in the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Region. This is a high profile role that reports into the Senior Director for Global Security EMEA. The candidate we seek will have strong investigative and business acumen with significant experience in criminal investigation; - The incumbent will operate at a senior level and must have the proven ability to work cross functionally, influencing others at all levels. There will be a strong focus on working with the local Pfizer business operation and external government and law enforcement departments; - The Director in this position will be expected to identify, asses and mitigate the key security issues affecting Pfizer for the region, keeping abreast of and briefing Senior Management on security issues, both internal and external to the company, and provide opinions and objective analyses for resolution. Requisitos: Key Accountabilities; - Throughout the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR regions, at all times to protect the Company’s personnel, real and intellectual property, reputation, and the integrity of our medicines, upon which the public relies to live happier and healthier lives; - Meet Global Security Goals and Objectives, as established by the Regional Senior Director; - Lead all investigations in the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions for product counterfeiting, tampering, diversion, parallel trading, and product smuggling of Pfizer products. Liaise with Pfizer Legal to ensure an integrated response. Serve as the primary contact with law enforcement when relevant cases are subject to criminal investigation; - Ensure the protection of the reputation of the Company through timely investigation and resolution of all reports of criminal or potentially criminal activity as it impacts Pfizer; - Identify losses, thefts and incidents of fraud and deception impacting Pfizer within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s, and investigate fully; - Throughout the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, identify and maintain liaison with key qualified and reputable investigative resources to be utilized within short notice, to conduct confidential and sensitive investigations; - Develop an effective approach to, and implementation of, security risk management for Pfizer within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s; - Ensure security threats to the business are understood, assessed and countered effectively within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s. Work collaboratively with the relevant business units to achieve best practice and appropriate integration; - Provide an effective executive protection program throughout the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s, ensuring appropriate and bespoke security is provided for specific company officials and colleagues; - Ensure an effective travel security program for all employees traveling to and from the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s; - Conduct due diligence and other background security investigations in accordance with Pfizer’s policies and local laws, using both open and closed intelligence sources to verify the Company engages with legitimate business partners at all times; - Give direct support to the Legal Department in relation to security aspects of corporate governance; - Give investigational support to the Compliance Group in relation to internal integrity and FCPA enquiries, where necessary and appropriate; - Provide professional security advice and direction to Senior Management, General Managers and all other Pfizer personnel, as required or appropriate and on a 24/7 basis within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s; - Review and ensure security integrity of the product supply chain within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s; - Where necessary and in coordination with the relevant GS counterpart/s, conduct information security investigations and provide recommendation to the appropriate site leaders from the outcomes of such investigations; - Closely liaise and integrate with the Global Security Operations Centre (NY) and other regional security operations to ensure a unified, standardized global response to security issues within the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions, in coordination with the relevant GS EMEA counterpart/s; - Develop a policy for the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Region as required, derived from Global Security guidance and direction; - Foster, develop and maintain professional relationships with Security, Police, Embassy and Customs agencies throughout the Middle East, Turkey and CAUCAR Regions; - Provide Global Security with strategic input for development of worldwide product integrity and security policies; - Conduct appropriate professional presentations, both internally within Pfizer and externally, in coordination with Global Security Headquarters in New York. Conduct professional media interviews as appropriate; - Provide budget oversight to ensure that security services provided in the EMEA region are cost effective. Qualifications Education: - A Bachelor’s Degree: or other advanced degree or equivalent education level /experience preferred. Experience: - Significant experience in business or government, preferably law enforcement, police or custom agency related work; - Significant experience in initiating and conducting both complex organized crime investigations and sensitive investigations, demonstrating the ability to formulate, implement and critically review plans with evidence of successful outcomes; - Experience of working in the Middle East Turkey and CAUCAR region preferred; - Demonstrate the ability to communicate and present clearly and concisely at a superior level, both written and orally in fluent English and a language local to the operating region, for the purpose of referring cases to Ministries of Health and high ranking government officials. Additionally the successful candidate MUST demonstrate: - Existing strong relationships with government official’s i.e. law enforcement, police, embassies, customs and governing bodies within the operating region; - Experience in identifying and recovering illicit proceeds related to security work and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with, and to navigate a complex organizational matrix within, an organization i.e Compliance, Legal, Trademark and Patents to ensure the successful seizure of assets; - Experience in investigating product integrity matters and transnational crime. Demonstrating knowledge of international trade practices, freight forwarding and international transfer of funds preferred; - Demonstrate the ability to gather and critically evaluate security intelligence, and prepare written documents that clearly and concisely identify the issues presented and their proposed resolutions; - Excellent organizational skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and capable of working independently or as part of a team; - Ability to manage budget allocations for investigations with conflicting priorities ensuring maximum return on investment. - Strategic thinker with a firm understanding of the balance between business and security; - Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel ,Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Location: The placement of this position will be within the Middle East, Turkey, or CAUCAR region but will also consider Greece as a location. Ideally the candidate will be located with access of a local Pfizer office location, but the specific location is flexible. The candidate must live in one of the countries in the operating region. Currently relocation is not an option.
