Currently, these services are all hosted in private clouds and deployed using traditional methods, and your role is to help the team move towards a modern, containerized and orchestrated model that can be deployed in public and private clouds alike.You will work with the rest of the team to understand the dependencies to shared services, storage and infrastructure and to plan and implement a migration towards containers, where the interfaces to external dependencies are well-defined and suitable for the decoupled architecture goal. You are pragmatic, yet you feel like you know a system that is easily deployed and maintained when you see one, and you have some good ideas on how to get there. The rest of the team will back you up all the way.Your background includes programming in Java. You've probably got some experience with GitLab or Bitbucket pipelines, as well as automated deployment. Infrastructure and configuration as code is something that resonates with you, and you're very comfortable around command lines and servers. You're up for a challenge — Signicat serves millions of transactions per day with very high SLA and uptime demands, and that's the type of environment that fits your ambition level.You're a quick learner and you're able to see that there is a business aspect as well, and that we as technologists need to work with other parts of the company to achieve great value for our customers. Micro-management is not for you, you like to have freedom under responsibility. You're good at demonstrating and explaining what you've created, and you like to do it.We've got a flat hierarchy and a very relaxed and informal work environment. Requisitos: 2-3+ years of working with the technologies mentioned in the role description.At least 4-5+ years of industry experience, including Java programming.Hands-on experience from a successfully containerized and orchestrated system, in production.You've got curiosity and interest, and you care.You live in Portugal already.You're comfortable being the team's center of competence in the areas mentioned in the role description.You communicate effortlessly in English, and you are able to explain complicated things in writing.Nice to have:Experience with all major public cloud providers as well as private cloud vendors is useful.Previous experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD.Would like to be part of "defining DevOps in Signicat".
