Descrição da Função:This role is based on overseeing multiple accommodation units, establishing new strategies in managing their specific requirements, goals and identity. A part from leading our Rooms team, including Front office, Housekeeping and Guest Relation the successful candidate will also be the responsible for all Security aspects of the entire resort. In addition, the position manages the large Leisure & Sports section, including our famous Kids Club, full Golf operation and will be liaising with our Tennis Academy partner. This role will be the first main contact for all individual property owners, as the person who is in charge for all subjects and procedures related to owned properties. The Director of Operations in charge of Rooms and Residential will assume the position of the right hand of the Complex General Manager, on the day to day operation, driving brand conformances and being the representative manager in his absence. Comprehensive experience of large scale operations and a strong and motivational leadership style are very much valued for this position, due to the diversity of teams and areas of management, in order to ensure that the entire Resort’s activities operate smoothly. Requisitos: The Director of Operations in charge of Rooms and Residential should be a multi property oriented professional, with a great passion for dynamics and complexity. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. - Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Most tasks are performed independently or in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision. - Must possess advanced computational ability and computer skills. - Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required. - Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. - Ability to assess/evaluate other employees’ performance in a fair and consistent manner. - Participate in the development of short- and long-term financial and operational goals of the hotel. - Possess advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within all hotel disciplines, including experiential knowledge for management of people and complex problems. - Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches. - Ability to make decisions with only general policies and procedures available for guidance. - Ability to apply supervisory/management (soft) skills. Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration, or equivalent education/experience required. Experience: Minimum of six years’ hotel management experience required.
