We are investing in solving these problems by exploring innovative solutions, including cross-publisher collaborations. As the academic publishing industry evolves, there is a growing need to provide personalised services to researchers and the authentication services will underpin that effort.This role is on a small, autonomous team. So you can expect (and be expected) to impact what we do and how we work. We like to keep our processes light, and bureaucracy slim.We have some Java services and new applications are built in Kotlin using http4k with Spring Security. Our applications are deployed to CloudFoundry through our CI pipelines. We also have responsibility for some legacy systems written in Java and Scala. Our overall architecture is well established, but the products you’ll be working on are still being planned Requisitos: About You You have some experience in Software Development.You like working in a collaborative team where there is collective ownership of the code.You would enjoy getting involved with every stage of the software development lifecycle.You have an interest in learning Test Driven Development and working in a trunk-based development environment. We also practice Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery..You would be comfortable with the prospect of pair programming.You see the value in developers owning production software and view failure as a chance to learn. What you will be doing Within 3 Months you will:Get familiar with our technology stack.Take part in training as advised by your manager and team lead.Take part in developing new features as a member of the tech team.Participate in the team’s agile processes and ceremonies.Be able to pair with other developers on pieces of work. By 3-6 months you will:Follow the team’s development practices and get more comfortable with the tools being used.Participate in technical discussions and share ideas.Be able to explain and sketch the system architecture.Help to resolve support queries and issues in the live applications.Contribute to blameless post-mortems.Be able to understand and discuss business requirements within the team.Have an understanding of the team’s context within the wider business.Take an active role in your career development and training, with support from your line manager.
